Hertfordshire Notes:
There is a single nineteenth-century record from the Sandridge area and then no more until two separate and widely-spaced discoveries of larval stages at Danebridge on 30th September and Turnford Marsh on 2nd October, both during 2003 and an adult in a garden trap at Bricketwood on 6th July 2006. Increased trapping effort since then has shown the species to be more widespread.

Middlesex Notes:
Local, recorded only as adults. Elsewhere, the larvae mine Ash Fraxinus excelsior and privet Ligustrum.
