General comments:
Widespread and potentially ubiquitous. The larval mines and cones of this distinctive moth are a familiar sight on almost every Ash tree and most un-pruned privet and lilac bushes. It is predicted that adequate searching would find this moth in every map tetrad where one or other of the foodplants grow.
