General comments:
Probably ubiquitous. Mines of this species will be found on almost every beech tree in the county, from the mature trees that make up the woodlands over towards Buckinghamshire to the closely cropped garden hedges of the north-east. Copper Beech is also reported as a host plant from other counties.
