(Hübner, [1799])389a / 48.0071

General comments:
Established adventive - extending its range rapidly.

The first British record was in 2014, when the species was found breeding in Hyde Park. Subsequent records were from Holborn and Tower Hill in 2020 (David Notton) and Ealing in 2021 (Paul Brown). Since then it has spread to affect Fig bushes (Ficus species) across the area, reaching Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire in 2023 when a four years old, planted-from-seed Fig bush was suddenly colonised in September.

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.

Recorded in 15 (37%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 2017.
Last Recorded in 2024.
