Plutella porrectella

(Linnaeus, 1758)465 / 18.003

General comments:
Widespread but local. Usually in low numbers.
Although this is not a particularly common moth here, it has been with us since at least 1889 when Gibbs recorded it within two or three miles of St Albans Town Hall. The flight data suggest a continuously-brooded species with three main peaks in flight activity.

Recorded in 24 (59%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1888.
Last Recorded in 2023.
