Acrolepiopsis assectella

(Zeller, 1839)473 / 19.011

General comments:
Widespread, but local. Associated with Alium species, especially garden Leeks. Perhaps overlooked in gardens, but it seems odd that we have no records for either county prior to the current millennium. Perhaps this reflects the fact that rather few people grow their own vegetables these days?

Recorded in 17 (41%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 2002.
Last Recorded in 2024.
