Hertfordshire Notes:
Widespread, but restricted by lack of suitable habitat.
Adults have been found feeding on the pollen of Pendulous Sedge in damp woodland by Raymond Uffen, who also noted mating pairs on this plant at Bayfordbury, in 1996. Adults have also been found on nettles growing beneath poplar trees, on buttercups (also beneath poplars and also under sallow), on Bugle, Dandelion and Marjoram.

Middlesex Notes:
Under-recorded, but probably rather Local. Modern records are from Fir & Pond Woods near Potters Bar, Walpole Park in Ealing and Bushy Park in the south.
