Telechrysis tripuncta

(Haworth, 1828)646 / 32.050

Hertfordshire Notes:
Extremely local. A poorly-known species, whose larvae are thought to be associated with dead wood, perhaps feeding on saproxylic fungi.
Very little is known about this moth in Britain and we have very few records in our two counties. It must surely be overlooked on occasion?

Recorded in 7 (17%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1965.
Last Recorded in 2021.
