Hertfordshire Notes:
Very local and scarce.
Unlike most other Agonopterix, this species spends the winter in the larval stage, inside a stem of Broom Cytisus scoparius. In the spring it feeds from within stems spun together with silk. A recent record is from Panshanger Park in 1997, is mapped but is treated as unconfirmed as there is no voucher specimen.
