General comments:
Local resident, probably overlooked but seemingly absent from Middlesex.
Most records are from light traps, but adults are said to be easy to net in flight over the foodplant in the last hour before sunset in July and August. The larvae are associated with species of Hypericum.

Recorded in 16 (39%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1890.
Last Recorded in 2022.
