Athrips mouffetella

Hertfordshire Notes:
Widespread but fairly common.
The larvae feed on honeysuckle Lonicera - both native and garden varieties - between leaves spun together with silk. Other moths do the same, but the larvae of mouffetella are distinctive. This is a moth that is likely to be found in a great many additional sites where the foodplant grows.
