General comments:
Widespread, but decidedly local.
An example taken at light at Bushey Heath in 1906 by P. J. Barraud, was reported as new to Hertfordshire (Gibbs, 1907). More recently we have found it at a number of sites across the area. The larvae are usually associated with Rumex acetosella.

Recorded in 16 (39%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1906.
Last Recorded in 2022.
