Gelechia senticetella

(Staudinger, 1859)801a / 35.099

General comments:
Adventive - now a widespread resident.
This species probably arrived with imported Cypress and similar trees. It had arrived in Hertfordshire by 2002 and in Middlesex by 2009, but in both counties may have been missed earlier. Repeat catches in most garden light traps indicate that the moth is now established here.

Recorded in 25 (61%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 2000.
Last Recorded in 2023.
