Thiotricha subocellea

General comments:
Local and scarce.
Calcareous ground and domestic gardens with Marjoram (Origanum species); the larva feeds from within a case - in the manner of a Coleophora species. Adults are reputedly most easily recorded by gently using a sweep net on the food plant in afternoon sunshine.
