General comments:
Widespread but local resident. Larvae on Bird's-foot Trefoils.
Separation from the evidently much rarer Syncopacma cinctella requires dissection of genitalia in all cases and so an old record listed as larseniella from Beaumont Green, near Wormley, prior to 1901 cannot be accepted and is not mapped. The first confirmed record is from Borehamwood in 1970 (Eric Bradford).
