Psoricoptera gibbosella

(Zeller, 1839)859 / 35.107

General comments:
Local resident.Likely to be under-recorded

The limited distribution may well reflect the restriction of the larvae to oaks (). Elsewhere, Hazel is said to act as an alternative foodplant, but if that were the case in our two counties a different distribution pattern might be expected.

Recorded in 18 (44%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1890.
Last Recorded in 2022.
