Mompha terminella

(Humphreys & Westwood, 1845)881 / 40.014

General comments:
Extremely local, but when found can be numerically common.

Not found in in our area until 2012. The caterpillar mines the leaves of Enchanter's Nightshade (Circaea lutetiana) from late August to late September; both the date and the form of the mine ensure that confusion with mines of Mompha langiella is unlikely.

Recorded in 7 (17%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 2012.
Last Recorded in 2022.
