Phtheochroa sodaliana

(Haworth, 1811)923 / 49.094

General comments:
Extremely local and scarce; single location only in Middlesex.

The larvae require Buckthorn, so the species is expected to be found in the main on areas of chalky geology. Outlier records may be wanderers or evidence of adaptation to garden varieties of Buckthorn.

Recorded in 12 (29%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 2002.
Last Recorded in 2022.
