General comments:
Widespread but local resident.

Most reports are from garden light traps and the map is probably more faithful to the location of such traps than to the spread of the moth. The flight period coincides with a period of inactivity on the part of some lepidopterists so that the number of records from sites that are not gardens is diminished.
