General comments:
Vagrant.

Older records are from Carneles Green in 1900 (W. C. Boyd) and Hertford Heath in 1940 (anonymous record at BRC Monks Wood - taken on trust as being correct) and again in 1991. The only modern record is of one extremely worn male at mv light in Bishops Stortford, on 28th April 2005 (James Fish and Julian Reeves). This moth was so worn it could only be named by examination of its genitalia. The early flight period may contribute to under-recording (almost all April/May trapping in recent years seems to have been undertaken in domestic gardens and few people venture out to sites where the moth might occur).

Recorded in 4 (10%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1900.
Last Recorded in 2004.
