General comments:
Vagrant.

One was taken at light in Bishops Stortford on 6th August 1959 by Geoffrey Sell and is mentioned in the 1985 list published by the Bishops Stortford and District Natural History Society. The specimen has been examined by Mark Parsons, Bernard Skinner and myself. This very surprising record remains the only one for Hertfordshire of this otherwise coastal species.

Recorded in 2 (5%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1959.
Last Recorded in 2022.
