General comments:
Extremely local resident; perhaps declining.

A summary of records is given in the Herts Moth Book (Plant, 2008). The national distribution of this day-flying moth just clips the north-east corner of our area and in this zone the species is established, though rarely numerous. Sadly, as the map shows, it has been lost from many apparently suitable sites and an overall range contraction is evident.

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.

Recorded in 17 (41%) of 41 10k Squares.
