General comments:
Extinct former resident, perhaps making a comeback.

Recorded 1828-1978; re-found in 2017 after a gap of 39 years. This moth was lost from much of Britain during the 1970s Dutch Elm Disease epidemic. Its return is very welcome. It is persists and establishes as a resident breeding species once more, it should be treated as a Species of Conservation Concern.

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.

Recorded in 17 (41%) of 41 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1887.
Last Recorded in 2020.
